On March 7, 2024 in Uralsk, Western Kazakhstan, the opening ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of Finland took place with the participation of Mrs. Ambassador Soili Mäkeläinen-Buhanist, representatives of Finnish business and local authorities. This event was an important step in the development of friendly relations between Finland and Kazakhstan.
As part of the opening, a round table was held, which was attended by Kazakhstani companies from various sectors of the region, as well as Finnish companies both from Finland and their local partners.
